The first time i met Phuong, she came in as a bride in search for a makeup artist and hairstylist. She told me she loves my work and booked me then, without even coming in for a trial or anything. We chatted for about an hour and we had such a great time that she said "why haven't we met before" She's got this great personality. Really fun to talk to. I had a great time doing her makeup and hair for her engagement pics and also her wedding. Everything turned out so GREAT!

"I met Ann through my friends who have had their makeup done by her in the past. They couldn't stop complimenting on how great a job she does! Ann is very professional and responds to your emails or calls promptly. She does some amazing work! I couldn't believe the results! You can check it out on her webpage or her myspace.. just type in "styles by ann" . This girl is really amazing and friendly! She is a great artist! She can work with any face and transform them into a beauty. I highly recommend her! She also hosts make up classes too. I am looking for someone to go with me to her next class. Should be great! "I had my MU and hair trial with Ann the other day, and as you can see by the photo I posted, she did an amazing job! I'm like the other girls who posted a review for Ann: I don't wear makeup on a regular basis, and when I do, I have to employ the services of my friend to do it for me. I can only apply lipstick!
Ann was very friendly, informative, knowledgeable, and great to talk to! I told her what I wanted, and she listened and gave me great advice. Her technique for applying make up was well executed on me. I like it when I am told and explained what is being done on me so I understand the process and how the end results was achieved.
I am planning on booking her for my wedding,, and I suggest you do so if you are looking for a great hair and MU artist!"

"I am getting married on June 28, and I have booked Ann for Hair & Makeup. So far, I am very happy with her work! The trial went very well. Ann is really nice and was a lot of fun to chat with. She made me feel very comfortable. Also, I had a specific hairstyle in my mind and brought in some magazine pictures. "I live in NYC, but I got married in Carmel, CA in March 2009... I thought booking a makeup artist from a distance would be a tough task. My photographer sent me pics of a wedding he shot before and when I saw the bride, I immediately asked him who the stylist was b/c that's the way I wanted to look... romantic and womanly, not too cute and overdone... my photographer sent me Ann's info and after emailing with her, I booked her for my wedding.
In planning for my wedding, I found her to be so responsive and involved... she asked me questions about what style I wanted and no matter when I sent her an email or how long the email was, I found a quick response from her with all the answers. Ann is so easy to work with and made me feel like she was as focused on my wedding as I was.
The makeup and hairstyle on the day of the wedding was even more than I could have imagined. Everything was flawless and I've had so many comments about how wonderful and glowing I looked that day. I can't say enough about how above and beyond Ann is in terms of doing hair and makeup. I didn't even have a trial with her so she was able to do a perfect job based on a few email exchanges. I would recommend her to anyone and would welcome emails about Ann."
