Tips on applying makeup!

Eyes:

Eyeliner:
Connecting the dots - To create a smooth line along the upper lashes, start at the outer corner and draw a series of dashes with an eye pencil, as close to the lashes as possible. Then connect the dots. This works for other types of liner as well. Doesn't have to be for pencil liners only.

Concealer:
Heat: before dabbing concealer on, warm it on the palms of your hands or rubbing the ring fingers together. The heat will thin the texture so the coverage will go ont smoothly.

Gentle:
Use the ring finger to apply eye concealer, by patting it on. Since the ring finger is the weakest of all fingers, it will not tug or pull the skin. Skin around the eye areas are the thinnest and most senstive.

Dotting concealers:
When covering undereye circles, put 3 dots of concealer from the inner corner to the middle of your eyes, then gentle pat, with your ring finger. DO NOT RUB!

Darken shadows:
To deepen the colors of any powder eye shadows, you would dip a small firm brush in water, before shading. Do not try to mix several colors, becuase it will not work and you will just make a mess. It makes the colors more intense and helps the shadow stay longer.

Easy smokey eyes:
For easy smoky eyes, get a chubby kohl pencil, rub it along the upper and lower lashes. Don't worry about making mistakes or not having the colors go on evenly. Then get a firm brush with nothign on it and blend in the colors to make it smooth and even.

Close set eyes:
To make the close-set eyes look farther apart, apply eyeliner only at the outer corners.

Eye openers:
Wide set eyes needs to be brighten with a dot of pale shadow at the inner corners. This makes the eyes look wide open and light reflecting, which makes the eyes look awake.

Greasy lips:
Before applying any color, put some foundation on the lips, then put some translucent powder over it, so the oils would get absorbed. Then apply the shadow colors.

Eyeliner stay put:
To help pencil eyeliners stay in place, trace over it with a short, stiff eyeshadow brush, dipped in powered shadow, in the same shade.

Take off:
The best eye makeup removers are the ones that are made for waterproof makeup. They are the ones the liquids are seperated in te bottles. They work awesome!

Remove:
For hard to get off eye makeup, what you want to do it hold the waterproof makeup remover pad over the lips for about 5 seconds, to let it soak in. The sweep if off. It should come off easily.
